छिमेकीविरुद्ध भूमि प्रयोग हुन नदिने प्रतिबद्धता

विराटनगर — प्रधानमन्त्री केपी शर्मा ओलीसँग नेपालका लागि भारतीय राजदूत नवीन श्रीवास्तवले शुक्रबार भेट गरेका छन्। प्रधानमन्त्री निवास बालुवाटारमा भएको भेटमा भारत–पाकिस्तानबीच हालै चर्किएको तनाव र त्यससँग सम्बन्धित पछिल्लो घटनाक्रमबारे छलफल भएको प्रधानमन्त्रीको सचिवालयले जनाएको छ।

राजदूत श्रीवास्तवले भारतको जम्मु–कश्मीरस्थित पहलगाममा गत अप्रिल २२ मा भएको आतंकवादी आक्रमणपछि भारतले चालेका कदमबारे जानकारी गराएका थिए। उनले भारतले जवाफी कारबाही गरे पनि जेट आक्रमण भएको भन्ने प्रचार सत्य नभएको स्पष्ट पारेका थिए।

भेटका क्रममा राजदूतले आतंकवादी हमलाप्रति नेपाल सरकारले बिहीबार सार्वजनिक गरेको वक्तव्यप्रति धन्यवाद दिएका थिए। उक्त वक्तव्यमा नेपालले आतंकवादविरुद्धको लडाइँमा साथ रहने उल्लेख गरेको थियो।

प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीले नेपाल विश्वशान्तिको पक्षधर रहेको बताउँदै सबै प्रकारका आतंकवादको भत्सर्ना गरे। साथै उनले नेपालले कुनै पनि द्वन्द्वरत शक्तिलाई छिमेकी राष्ट्रहरूविरुद्ध आफ्नो भूमि प्रयोग गर्न नदिने अडान पुनः दोहोर्याएका छन् ।

नेपालको कुनैपनि देश वा शक्तिको विपक्षमा नभइ आतंकवादविरुद्धको तटस्थ र स्पष्ट अडानलाई हाल विश्वभरि प्रशंसा गरिएको छ। सामाजिक सञ्जालमा विभिन्न देशका नागरिकले नेपाल सरकार र नेपाली जनताको शान्तिपूर्ण धारणा र निर्भीक अभिव्यक्तिको खुलेर प्रशंसा गर्दै ‘सलाम’ गरिरहेका छन्।

PM Oli Meets Indian Ambassador: Reaffirms Commitment Not to Let Nepali Soil Be Used Against Neighbors

Biratnagar — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava on Friday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar. The meeting focused on recent developments following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India, on April 22, and the rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Ambassador Srivastava briefed PM Oli on India’s response to the attack. He clarified that while India had taken retaliatory action, reports claiming a jet strike were inaccurate.

During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava expressed gratitude for the statement issued by the Government of Nepal on Thursday, which condemned terrorism and expressed solidarity with global efforts against it.

Prime Minister Oli reiterated Nepal's commitment to global peace and strongly condemned all forms of terrorism. He reaffirmed that Nepal will not allow any warring forces to use its territory against neighboring countries.

Rather than opposing any specific country or power, Nepal's neutral stance against terrorism is currently being praised around the world. On social media, people from across the globe are saluting the Government of Nepal and the Nepali people for their clear and principled position.
